For too long, our food system has resembled a pine forest – a landscape dominated by a single species. We envision a food system much more diverse. A food system where that diversity can thrive. The elements that constitute that diversity are already there – we just need to make stronger connections between them and support them. 

The webpages that follow outline some Northland companies, small businesses and not-for-profits that, we believe  are working to build a stronger food system.
